Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands

The preaching group at church have been reading this fantastic book by Paul Tripp which explores the way God uses his redeemed people to help one another change. Each week we email each other our notes and reflections on one chapter.  Our initial idea was to let the book shape and inform how we might preach God’s word to the heart by giving us an understanding of the human heart.  But the book really focuses on the day to day relationships we have as members of the body of Christ.

All members of Holy Trinity should read this book as it gives us the tools to be “Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands”.  To give you a flavour for what’s inside, you can read the notes I have made on each chapter by following the links below.  We have several copies of the book which we’ll put in the church library once we’ve finished reading it in February.  If you want your own copy, click the image of the book to be taken to The Book Depository page to buy it.
